Why
NKYAA?
NKYAA is
the premier nonprofit athletic association in the state for elementary through
high school athletics. NKYAA has the tools needed to transform any athletic
program to a thrilling and competitive league, poised to achieve new heights.
The
Program
Promotional
Materials
NKYAA
will provide each of our member schools all materials necessary to promote each
program to students, faculty, and parents. Promotional material includes but
not limited to handbills for students, season information flyers, posters, etc.
Regional
and National Tournaments
NKYAA is a national affiliate member with several athletic programs which allow our teams to participate in sanctioned state and national tournaments. In addition to state and national tournaments, NKYAA will host regional tournaments locally, preparing teams to further their experience in tournament play.
Online
Services
As well
we provide the online services for registration and league guidance. Each
participant will be able to register online in just a few easy steps. Along
with online registration, participants will be able to check up-to-date league
standings and game schedules and/or schedule changes.
Uniforms
and Sports Equipment
Each
participant will receive a top of the line jersey with their school's name and
logo. NKYAA picks up the tab for all basic equipment that is missing from the
schools “home field”. This includes field painting, markers, goals/nets, and
basic playing equipment each sport may require being present at every game.

Insurance
General
Liability Insurance
Indoors
or outdoors, from player clinics to tournament games, from pre-season fund
raisers to post-season awards banquets, from field opening to field closing,
NKYAA has teamed up with national insurance agencies to provide protection for
all of its members. NKYAA provides a two million dollar Commercial General
Liability Insurance policy which insures those involved in organizing or
administrating any NKYAA sanctioned event. Those covered include
administrators, referees, coaches, field maintenance workers, concession stand
workers and other volunteers for bodily injury and property damage alleged to
be caused by their negligence.
Soccer
Accident Insurance
NKYAA
provides its members with a $50,000 recreational soccer accidental medical
insurance policy. This insurance will respond for medical costs incurred for
injuries sustained while participating in any NKYAA sanctioned event. Even
though you may already have adequate health insurance coverage, this policy
offers additional accident coverage and is included in the membership fees.
Fund-Raising Program
Any
school that is a part of our program, throughout any given season, will receive
a $5 donation for every child, from their school, that participates in NKYAA leagues...every
season!
